Govindghat to Ghangria
is a tough trek.Train well beforehand for a week at least.
At Ghangria,be
prepared to survive on bread,noodles and eggs.
MTR ready to eat packs
are handy,carry your stock.(Take Dabur's Anardana with you for digestion)
Valley of flowers is
huge.
Don't think you can
touch it and return in a hurry.
Carry your brunch
packs with you.(There is no canteen there.)
Hemkund Sahib.
Expect fog to blind
you.
Rent your pony
ride,the night before (Cheaper) if you plan to go to Hemkund Sahib,the next
morning.
Tie the handkerchief
with camphor balls on your wrist & keep sniffing at it for oxygen.
Bathe in frosty water
pool at the Gurdwara if you feel you won’t catch cold.
Do not take the Pony
ride on your way back,if you are not accustomed to it.
On your way back,if
your weary legs feel heavy,message chairs are helpful.
Govindghat
Be well prepared to
hear some bad news,like road block due to falling rocks.
Be quick to grab
sleeping qtrs for overnight stay and don’t try not to pay attention to the
rents going higher by the minute.
Do not fail to get
whatever foodstuff you can get your hands on.
Fight for survival
has begun.
Make standby
bookings for stay & travel before leaving your home.(Don’t think your mobiles will work-carry battery
bank)
